I dropped by Aquan today to pick up some hardwares and noticed how dead the store was. Not a single customer on a Sunday. I told the guy behind the counter they need to start carrying Hobies and the guy told me they will in a month or so. I don't know how true it is, just giving everyone a heads up especially the ones who live in the Peninsula. I love CCk in Oakland, but sometimes depending on time of day, hate the drive up there (Bay bridge, go figure)

Strange...I just heard on Friday that Aquan was closed down, or closing down...trying to confirm.  It is convenient having them here on the peninsula.  I was in there a few weeks back looking for a plug and they pulled one right off a kayak they had on the floor (because the loose ones from OK were not fitting their newer model kayaks).  Really nice of them.
