Ya, well the wife DID find out so there!   :smt005  Hope you (sudmucker) come back empty handed, unless of course, I'm invited to come along, and then I hope you catch plenty!  :smt003

Unfortunately he doesn't.  I've checked.  But since the hubby was the first one with the Kayak and I'm just learning, he's the one who gets to make the decisions.  And I respect that!   :smt008

Pinole Fremont ?????
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

As a kayaker married to a kayaker and knowing she sometimes reads this forum  :smt018, I will not comment any further. Better to be silent than sorry. :smt058

Hey Adam, any chances you'll head back out tomorrow (Sun)?  Chores and errands have kept me close to home today, but I'm planning on heading out somewheres tomorrow to hunt for stripers.

Adam,

I'm down for a Recon of the Rodeo to Martinez area.  Launching is difficult through the Carquinez straights and I have watched people launch from Martinez and paddle down but don't know if they caught anything.  Weekends are open for me (at least one day) and I don't mind hooking up with locals to scout out this area.  I spoke to the people at the Rodeo launch ramp and they said no one uses the ramp next to the restaurant because it's to shallow and the only launch is in the back behind the boat repair facility.  The guy mentioned a $50/year launch privilege fee.  He is prorating it to $30.  Let me know if you are going on a weekend.

Luis
