Hello from Redding!

Hello Everyone!  I'm located in Redding where I spend the majority of my yaking on Whiskeytown Lake--for sailing and trolling for trout/kokanee salmon.  Bass fishing at Shasta Lake, but still really consider my self a novice.  I really want to make a trip to the coast and fish Eureka/Arcata/Trinity eventually.    I am excited to learn from this website and to meet other fellow yak enthusiasts!

What are you guys doing up in the middle of the night?  Going fishing?  Or that nasty four letter word that starts with a "W"?

Thanks for the invite, Codzilla, but I am unfortunately busy for the next 8 weekends.  My life is not my own right now, ha!

Besides, I need to start getting all the safety gear that I have been reading about in the other threads.  I knew that ocean fishing could be dangerous--just didn't realize how I should be equipped!
