I have the T-pod for my iPhone. Works pretty good. Since then I've upgraded to a elite 4. The sonar is awesome. Go too fast and you lose the wifi signal. I had my Tpod attached to a line that sat about 2 ft behind my yak. I used it in both fresh and salt water. The prongs for the charger on the pod Vexilar will corrode. Clean it right away after use and dry.

Put some dielectric grease on it will protect it from corrosion.

I hooked mine up last week and on land was working ( linked up to my phone). Was out at Stillwater yesterday and no luck from the transducer. I had my phone connected to the sonar app and no depth and nothing on the screen…..still to soon to tell but I don't think this is best for a hard mount install on a kayak. I do like the Idea of putting it on a remote control boat or something like that and shore fishing or on a friends boat to have. I will mess with that idea.

Next time I do some shore fishing I'm gonna take my Tpod with me. With the lost connection issue I would turnoff and on the wifi on my phone and then it would connect.
