I'm thinking of hitting Lafayette Reservoir this Saturday morning.
We used to nail trout there on the sw side trolling roostertails  while rowing the rental boats many years ago.
They would only hit when you rowed the right speed.
3-4 split shots and a bouncing pole tip was the right speed.
Any how not sure if this still works but I'm going to try it again.
Company always welcome.
Andy

Make sure everything is clean and bone dry as they will do a full quagga inspection.  no trailers allowed but you can use your scupper trolley to get the yak to the water

Said my buddy the ranger there
never met a Dry Fly I didn't like
