I have 6" dia pool noodles; the ones they use for excercising/therapy if you need one or two....

For buoyancy; I just got a Malibu X-Factor and I want to put a lot of noodles in it.  One or two 6" dia noodles would be a good start.  PM me with where you are, etc.
