My wife always buys Cham Kimchee and it comes in the best plastic boxes. They have a rubber bead around the whole rim of the lid and snap shut really tight. I wonder why they have to make such a good seal on a kimchee box.. ha! I think they did it so I can't get into it. :karate  Once I start eating it I just can't stop! :drool

They're $4-$5 and come in various sizes (8x5.5x4.5 & 6x4x4). They sell 'em at your local hardcore Asian supermarkets. Mitsuwa in Saratoga, Han Kook in Santa Clara and sure there's plenty more.

Nice containers.  I like that style a lot.  Very similar to the "Lock-n-Lock" containers available at Target. 

I also saw a less expensive version of the same type of container at Albertsons grocery store last week.
