Report: Throwing flies at Albion

Threw flies all weekend at Albion. My best was the lingcod below.

I also caught a lot of blues and blacks.

The only fly fishing other then planter trout is for Black Bass or Stripers using floating line with a 9 ft leader mostly roll casting cause I am not to good of a caster. It must be much more sweeter catching rock fish with a fly rather than conventional gear.

It was pretty awesome seeing you fight that ling on the fly rod for what, like 5 whole minutes?!?!?!  You got it though!!!    Doing so in a stealth too, pretty cool!!!

It's so much more pleasure catching by fly that I now only carry a fly rod.  -  unless I am going for salmon.
