Salmon have eluded me last year, well due to lack of time put on the water too, but this year, I am seeing some craze on Salmon bite everywhere, I even witness Ken Jan hookup at Albion and did a tailwalk before coming unbutton.. that was sick!!! I wasnt the one hook up on it but I felt every pain...this year I will have some hunting to do...

I had a sashimi last night from what Ken gave me, ohhhh so good..Put Kikoman Sushi Soy and Wasabi..my Son says one of the best home made dinner and says to Thank my buddy Ken from him...

This was the first year I took some Salmon and had some sashimi.  I wasn't to clear on parasites for salmon, so I froze it for a week and then defrosted slowly in fridge.  I have never been a big fan of uncooked Salmon when I have went to sushi restaurants in the past.  But it changes the flavor with soy sauce and wasabi so much that I really enjoyed it that way.  And it was so cool that I caught it.

I gave a bunch away this year to families that did not have the opportunity to get out and get some. I have to tell you that it felt just as good to be able to do so.

Enjoy the hunt.
