What's up,
Looking for some compadres to check out the dive scene at Muir Beach and see if we can snag a few rockfish or possibly a halibut.  I have a strong itch to give my brand new Ab-Biller a whirl.  I have dove Muir once before and the structure is nice, but the visibility is hit and miss.  The low swell and surf leading up to Sunday should help get the visibility better.  Reply or PM if interested.  Looking to hit the water at 7 or 8 in the morn.

I've always been very tempted to check out the Marin coast, but never have. Please let us know what the water conditions are like and if you find it to be fishy. GL.

The conditions were really nice on Sunday, but the visibility was still pretty poor at Muir, maybe 2.5 feet with some pockets where it was a little better or worse.  The bottom was not that great until I got about 200 yards from the beach on the North wall.  I think that it has potential but I was diving by myself and didn't feel comfortable pushing myself to go out to the big wash rock near the North point, especially since its grey suit season.  I saw a decent amount of perch but couldn't convince myself to shoot them.  No rockies or halibut seen, one small greenling spotted near the end of my dive.
