anybody fish for  wipers ? any tips ?
any good places to launch ?
I know nothing any tips would help.
possibly going saturday.

a wiper is a hybrid between a white bass and a striper.
i guess they get quite large.

Not sure if they are still there but when I was a kid we would hit lake nacimento for them.. I miss those days, they are a bad ass fish

Wipers are stocked in a lot of lakes where they used to put striped bass. They don't get as big as the stripers, but there are some other advantages. A lot of the bigger lakes in the midwest are stocked with them.
