Trolling for trout in summer

Gonna be camping at rollins lake next week and gonna try and get some trout while I am there.  Any suggestions on hooking some during the dog says of summer?

Never fished there before, but this time of year work the early/late shift when the sun is off the water.  Are you running a downrigger?

Run some willow blade flashers with a 6ft. Leader to either a threaded nightcrawler or spoon 40-60ft down.
