AR shad intel requested

I'm hoping the Sacramento crew can provide some info on AR shad. I'm hoping the shad is in the Upper Sunrise area (since that's the only section I'm familiar with). If so, I plan to make a trip up there on Thursday 7/3. Any intel is appreciated.

as of 2 weeks ago I heard they were petering out.  But I can not confirm this.

Little late to the game...... I'd say get to the river early, and target stripers. There are a ton of them in the river right now.

Probably more stripers than shad.

Unless you have a boat to cover a lot of water and know where they hold when leaving, the game is over.  It was a bad year for shad on the American thanks to the low flows.

Time to go look for stripers, they are in the American.
