Hey everyone!  I moved here from Colorado last Fall where I spent a lot of time fly fishing from belly boats/drift boats.  I just bought a Hobie Revolution and am now trying to figure out how to catch ling, halibut, and salmon from Tomales and Bodega as well as still doing some lake fly fishing here and there.  I've run into a few guys out on the water and all of them have told me to sign up on this site and everyone has been extremely welcoming and hospitable... thanks!

Good to have you here.  That revo is a good platform for fishing fresh and salt.  If you haven't gone yet, be careful when you hit the salt.  You should probably go with someone who has experience in the area you fish.  You're gonna love this action.

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

Welcome to the madness!!

I was a newbie last year and highly recommend signing up for one of the tournaments, like the Albion Open July 25 to 27.  Gives you a goal to get geared up for, the opportunity to see how others approach the game, meet some great people and eat some fabulous food.  See you on the water!
