goldenarrow, call me and we'll head out before you go. 225-1272  I fished Vallenar last night for two silvers and a huge cod. No big halibut..  My weekend is open right now. We can take the power boat out, anchor up, and yakfish from there.

I was in Ketchikan visiting my cousin Charlie Polk from Sat the 9th until Sun the 17th.  We had amazing fishing and diving.  I have never been to anyplace so beautiful.  The rock scallops were unreal.  We were down by Boca most of the time.  Looking at your pics makes me want to get on a plane and go back tomorrow.  I will post my own pics here in a few days.

Did you guys have much trouble with the dogfish?  We had them BAD.  They tore up a lot of gear.

No problems with dogfish.  I think only one was caught by the group the whole time we were there.

I guess orange/red is just the color for the area.....purely coincidence.  Yep, he was an exceptional fish.
Saltwater is the cure for everything that ails us,
