Weekend with my parents...

Now I love my parents, but in small doses... My dad, was a Marine drill instructor for twelve years. He still is the same, and most of the time, he is funny as heck to just watch interact with the general public out here in California, but man, the older he gets (70) the worse he gets! He has NO tolerance for stupidity, and things that do not go his way. So I'm driving.
I had to remake my bed this morning after a shower, I guess at 40 I still have to pass GI! Cracks me up. He did let me sleep in though........to 0600.
Lord, please help us, we are going down to Wal-Mart now........

Man, I feel you.  To some degree at least.  My mother left yesterday after spending 30 days here, no hotel, no....  the spare room.  It was good mostly, I will still be finding things out of place for another month...

It faired well, he even behaved around the X and her parents at the ball game today. But if I had a dime for every "GD California drivers" comment, I could fully fund an Islander trip three consecutive years. He is all bark, and at his age, he isnt goung to change. Just gotta love em! Mom out did herself in the kitchen, as always, but I did get to make ceviche out of my last cabby, and we had broiled ling tonight, with mom's potato salad, and huckleberry pie for desert!

Dam I just ate my last bag of huckleberries. People down here have no clue to what they are. I want to head north after Albion but I do not think I'll be able to. Pisses off the locals when they see a California License plate in a place picking berries.   

Pisses them off anytime they see cali plates. Love it when they get huffy, then see it is me! They are like "sorry, thought it was a prick up here." Then I tell them "your assumption was right!"

Got folks on the road after two days and a wake. Funny thing, I miss em already.
