Trinidad 6/16 and/or 6/17

I'm going to try to hit Trinidad tomorrow and Tuesday for rock fish. Any of you north coasters plan on being OTW? Any advice on where to fish??

It looks pretty blown out till thurs, small craft advisory through the 17th.

Hey I would advise against going north of the head. Although its better fishing the weather has impeded most of us from being able to get out to flatiron.

South of the head is protected from the N swell so I would fish the kelp beds and structures between the harbor and camel rock. The wind has been coming in strong at around 11:30 to noon. I would suggest getting back before the wind picks up. Good luck and let us know how you do.

In my experience, Trinidad is no bueno in the wind.

Good to know! I might just head inland and see if any of these lakes still have water in them!

Monday was fine until 11:30am, but Thursday and Friday are looking mighty fine.
