I went out solo yesterday at Fort Ross.  Foggy, but small swell.  I bailed on the launch and lost my hat and banana, which sucked, but it could have been worse.  I ended up hooking up with two other kayak disher-dudes who are not associated with this group.  Fished pretty much all day with hardly anything to show for it.  I caught three underlings and a few small rockfish.  I kept one halfway decent red and two gophers that were killed by the pressure change.  The other dudes fared better than I, with three lings, a cabazon and some rockfish between them.  On arriving upon the beach, I did not find my hat or banana, but there were two other kayak fisherpeople not associated with this site.  They generally had a slow day, but had a very nice sized cabazon.

Looks like BAM II was sweet.  I'll make it a priority next year.

Peace, Sean
