I'm debating hitting  SC on Sunday morning or spending the day with a couple of buddies to watch the worldcup.
The forecast looks a bit rough, would it be good enough for fishing between the yellow buoy and the mile buoy?

Checked the NOAA website and it doesn't seem too bad so I will give it a try. Hoping to be at the ramp around 6:30AM. Hope to see some of you out there (ch69)

Ended up going. Launched shy of 6:30 from the ramp and headed toward the yellow buoy. Weather was nice and the water calm. Not a lot of action at all.... I only caught and released 4 browns and hooked up something quite bitter but lost it even before I can see what it was. I was hoping for a ling or a butt but I will never know...I was using a swim bait.
Between 9:30 and 10AM, the weather changed suddenly so I headed back (strong wind, choppy water. I only paddled the left side to try to go straight).
Anyway I made it back to the harbor and back home on time for the worldcup and father's day lunch :-)
Didn't see a lot of boats no yaks (between father's day and the forecast, not a real surprise I guess.
I hope I will have more change next time. Maybe I will try HMB if I can go with someone who knows the area a bit as I've never been there
