okay... first things first seabass are stupid and I hate them, countless hours of wasting my time researching and paddling till my arms are noodles have put me on edge: then I go on BSMSC(baysidemarineSC) and check the report. "seabass are being caught near the mile bouy" -_- ok then is the tide playing a key role? the squid? are they schooling up and chasing bait? or are they lone wolfing it due to the population of them? well one thing for certain they live up to there name a true effn ghost. IM CALLIN IN T.A.P.S. I NEED THE PROS! !!!

I'm just messing with you and hoping to keep you motivated.   :smt044 :smt044 :smt044This is from two years ago when I took my friend kayakfishing at Capitola for the first time.  It was a slow day and just as we were going to give up and go home , a huge flock of birds (hundreds, maybe thousands) come floating by - they were following squid.  My friend had two squids pinned on his hook to mimic breeding squid and I only had one squid on my hook.  Guess which one this WSB liked more?

WSB are a spooky fish. If you hook one don't loose it because the school will follow them. Similar to stripers on the beach. You can keep catching them, but the first to escape will take the school with them.

I always thought sea bass was the guy that wanted to beat up harry in dumb and dumber
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

This might be the year. With the predicted el nino and all. Warmer waters could just be the ticket...
