Should Anglers Release Lingcod Females?

But Pat you can't keep any ling "under 35" in Alaska thus the big female I'm holding up in my avatar!!! I think she went almost 60" 

I'll usually release all lings over 34", especially later in the season when I have fish in the freezer. I'm really after big blues and verms but depending on my day I'll keep a ling or two from 22" - 26", they fit in my crate real nice.
