  Do you have one of those I/R  security lights covering your possum pool?  All the possums I have in my yard  seem to really not like my 300 watts of flood lights (2x150w) when they go on.  Maybe that can be slight detergent if you don't have them?

At that age it probably still needs Mothers Milk or formula.   My daughter volunteers at Suisun Wildlife Center at just fostered 3 babies. They need to eat once every four hours and are a huge time commitment.  I would say best bet is to call local center and turn it over to them

I took the last one to a wildlife shelter last week. They took it in the back of the room and returned within a minute. They told me it was old enough to be on its own and to release it where I found it.

I've got the same problem Antonio.  I have a squirrel trap in my back yard.  So far this year, I've only caught baby possums.

I've got a little possum relocation program going on.   

Toss that out on a bass pond after dark and the fish will go wild!
