From friday after work until Saturday morning. Three pub stops, one bear, one deer, secluded free camping, mystical rocks, gorgeous river, beers around camp fire, 8 hours sleep, breakfast on river, 7 mile down hill bike ride (more like bike coast) and back home.
Stop 1. Bones Road House (GREAT Burgers)
Stop 2. Sly Park Resort (Across from the entrance to Jenkinson Lake)
Stop 3. Ice House Resort. (Easily $3500 worth of $1 stapled to the walls)
Bear ran in front of the truck as we were driving up Ice Hose Road.
Camping...Secret Spot. No one around for miles. Deer was standing at the campsite when we got there.
Fourteen rocks all perfectly balanced on their pointy ends at the river. VERY cool.
Bike Ride. Down Ice House Road to Hwy 50.

Next time I'm up there; I can add one more $1 bill to the wall.... remember? :smt003

Very cool way to spend the day!

Mine was spent playing greasemonkey under my truck; good news is, it should be fixed after 8months of being dormaint on the side of the house. Bad news was, after throwing about $350 at it, all it was was a loose screw on the camshaft sensors.......

Nice Tote! We used to stay at Wrights for two weeks. After the first week we would all pile in the wagon and go to Ice House for biscuits and gravy. Crystal Basin is the most fantastic place. Up to Smith is the best. You have been to Smith I think. Have a great day buddy!

I think one of those $1 was mine.  We stopped in one day before we hit the Rubicon trail.  Had to grab shot for the trail!
