Checked out the Ko-Ket Resort on the Sacramento River, just south of Walnut Grove. Spoke to the manager and he stated that kayakers are welcome to launch from their ramp and/or fish from their two docks for a parking fee of $6.00. There is a snack bar and restrooms on-site. There is a self-pay box on the side of the building to the right of the ramp or when the snack bar is open, you can pay there.

Here is a web link to more information about the resort:

Spoke to several fisherman and they said the fishing was slow today, but they expect the big Stripers and Salmon to be showing up soon.

New management at Ko - Ket is trying to be much more user friendly.  They even have tap beer.  My launch ramp is right next to theirs, free to NCKA to launch at mine so long as I am here.  Just PM me if you are coming up this way, and yes the salmon are just blasting through here without biting right now.  We need a cold spell.

Good to know new management, I was boycotting the place after they charged me $18 to launch my tin can a few years back.

Thanks for the information and free launch offer. We saw the ramp next door, but did not have time to stop by and check it out yesterday. Is your resort named Meader Resort?

It used to be Meader's, but all 24 tenants went together and bought it 10 yrs. ago when Ralph Meader decided to sell.  Now it is just called The River/Delta Beach Properties.

Yes cold spell indeed we need! Between me and 2 others we've only managed 4 salmon total since the opener! Mark fish every trip and see them jumping all over. Hopefully the bite picks up in October.
