There is a discussion going on a forum I look at and one person is trying to convince everyone that you are required to have a sturgeon card in any water that has Sturgeon in the water even if you're not targeting them .I told them I believe it's false, I can't find it in the regulations and I was just curious if anybody knows for sure. He won't take my $100 bet that he is wrong.

According to him if I'm shad fishing the American River I have to have a sturgeon card because there are a few in that system. Get him to bet and take his $100.

I know he is wrong, I just don't like him putting out false info.

How would you know if a body of water has dinos in it ? some of those lakes/ponds in GG Park have them I have seen them caught in the Russian and quite a few in Lake Shasta so they could be anywhere. They are survivors.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
