We stay down there in the fall every year for a few days.  I've actually launched my kayak from the beach there a couple times but it's very sketchy on all but the calmest days.  Had the boat out of moss last fall and saw some epic whale action with the family within kayak range, and the kiddos nailed the sanddabs... Get into 130 ft of water and you can't keep 'em off your line.
