Actually made some progress on roof this weekend.  Got the old rotted crap removed last weekend and cleaned up the area, then brought home some new toung & groove 2X6's Saturday and got up and started measuring and cutting.
Finished up the "Short side (Right side of the chimney) this morning before the sun got on the roof.
The shot showing the eaves from underneath, the old boards had no support other than the toung & groove toung!  No support at the chimney.  I fixed that by anchoring a 2X4 to the bricks on the chimney, after pushing it up under the new boards.  So I have a solid support for the end of the boards now. (Still debating weather I'm going to anchor the new boards to the new support, or just leave them floating.
Still have 2 old boards to swap out but there still covered with old shingles, when I get them exposed, I'll swap them out.
Still need to get replacement rigid foam sheets (Inch and half think) to replace the crappy old ones.
I'm happy with the progress from today, but wished I had more of the old shingles removed. (Might have had more had I not traveled to AZ for work for 2 weeks!)
Shots show before and after.....
Saga continues!
