I've had Costas for years now and they are worth every cent you pay for them.  I've think I have bought 5 or 6 pairs over the years.  You can find some good deals for the on Ebay, but I would suggest going someplace local and trying on a bunch of different models to find a model you like.  Once you know the model then you can order online and find a decent deal.  Like others have said, they don't really go on sale so when you find a good deal jump on it.  That's why I bought two sets from Dan's friend at the Headwaters Swap meet last year.

I swear by them!  They are X-Ray vision for fisherman.  I've seen Marlin in the prop wash behind our boat in Mexico and I've seen a GWS about 10 feet under my Whaler in Bodega a few years ago.  I like the 580 lenses and use the Blue Mirrors for bright days and an Amber lens for cloudy or overcast days.  Their service and warranty are excellent.  I sent a set in for repair before a trip to Hawaii and bought another set for backups in the meantime.  Costa was able to get my glasses back in brand new condition before my trip.

I'm a recent CDM convert. All it took was for me to see the "key test" at the Fred Hall show and I was sold.

I've only lost one nice pair of sunglasses, but I've scratched the shit out of the lenses of dozens of others. I've had my CDMs for about a year now and there's not a single scratch on either lens.

Are you sure you want to wear a $200 pair of sunglasses on the water? I have lost a couple pairs of expensive sunglasses while fishing. :smt013

Yes I'm sure, and I do.  High quality optics go a long way.  In fact yesterday, they helped me see the 1000's of shad that I was NOT catching, when some of the others weren't seeing them.   :smt013

Word up! Quality on the water is awesome! Kayak Connection in Santa Cruz sells Costa and give NCKA discount.
You gonna be in the area fishing anyways :smt002

Hey everyone
So I have been wanting to upgrade my current eye protection and from what I hear Costa sunglasses are the bees knees but my only issue is the $200+ price tag I know they are suppose to be great and you get what you pay for and all that jazz but I have a hard time ponying up the 200 clams for a pair of glasses so does anyone out there have the hook up on Costa they would like to share

-Jason

if youre close to oakland san leandro you can try waltons pond he has em for 50% off. i bought a pair for 75 bucks. so i wont feel so bad if i lose them. hope it helps

Try Sierratradingpost.com.  You have to keep checking.  The site will keep emailing you with additional discounts.  I brought 2 CDMs from them for about $60 each.  It's my favorite sunglasses for fishing.
