I saw these this spring, but didn't have a chance to test drive one until this weekend.

Interesting design.  Wide ... 42"!!!  No scupper holes.  Looks more like a boat than a kayak.  It paddles surprisingly well, tracks and turns just fine.  I would have thought it would be hard to paddle something so wide, but it was not a problem.  The rep said it is because you are sitting higher.  And actually higher is nice as you are sitting more upright that you would in a normal kayak.

I could see this kayak having some traction in freshwater/calmwater.  I wish I had a chance to test drive it today in the big wind chop that was going on, but they closed the beach.  D'oh!

Looks like it would be fun for lake fishing.  Is it stable enough to stand while fishing?
