I have a brand new T13 and want to remove the seat, which is screwed to the kayak.  What is the best way to remove it?  Should I just remove the screws?  Do they go back and seal up without causing me extra work?

What kind of seat is that?? I dont remember my T13's seat as being screwed to the kayak. Is it one of those foldable ones?

Yes,
The seat is held in by screws into threaded inserts. Just remember to put the screws back in to protect the threads for future use.

Thanks for that.  Yes on inspection this was quite simple.  The threaded inserts are fully embedded in the plastic, so no worries about having to reseal anything.  It was easy to remove and add my new seat, the Surf to Summit GTS Expedition.  I haven't used it yet, but really like the way it fits into the yak and gets tight, looks like it will give a lot of back support.
