In the market for a new rod for jigging for cod. Would love the trevala but a bit too pricey for me. Going to go with tiger stick just wondering what action to get. What do you guys use?

I use a 6'8" shimano sellus mh. Its not a jigging rod for the salt.its a lmb rod but if uou dont overload it with weight its a great rod to yoyo light iron.
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

I would go with the med-light for jigs up to 4oz med to 6oz or the Tiger Lite's Med up to 3oz Heavy to 6oz

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Ugly Stick GS2, are a newer version priced pretty good ($40) , 7 year warranty.  Lighter than the traditional Ugly Sticks but supposed to  (according to the marketing) the strength and durability
