Another great day on folsom... OH! i almost forgot Lifeproof cases are'nt Skylar proof (R.I.P. iphone). But other than that I did pretty well. The first couple hours were really slow so Rider and I docked our kayaks on the rocks and climbed ashore. While we were on shore some idiots came speeding around the corner doing close to 30mph in a 5mph no wake zone. They hit rocks and we were laughing onshore because they deserved it. I love karma! Around 3-4 ish the bite turned on and we were into some fish... large fish (or atleast i was). It's sad because some of the big bass dont give a good fight, but the little ones give a great fight. I caught a 21.75 inch Spotted Bass a new personal best! SandBag came out at around 3:30 and still caught a fish, i'm glad nobody got skunked. My goal of the day was to catch atleast a 22.25 to tie with ATD but i'm okay with the monster I caught. My bass was 6 lbs, and i'm thankful i have some Lucid fish grips to hold my fish so they don't tear up my thumb like the Largemouth did at Clear Lake. I outfished my dad again, even though he caught around 15 fish total they were all pretty small. Overall Rattlesnake Bar has some monster fish in it and i'm glad I got to go. If you are going to go out and fish Rat Bar make sure you have good wheels because there is a gianormous hill that you have to go down to launch, and remember you have to climb back up it after your tiring day out on the water.

Great write up princess.

It was a good day and always cool fishing with joe.

Yes she got another beast right in front of some tournament bass fisherman. I think they were a little jealous and I know they wanted it in their tank.

Here's some pics.

I used to love fishing that place back in the day. Good to see that some things haven't changed. That's a huge spot... big congrats.
