OK Ukers - and anyone else possessing the urge to uke it up at the Clear Lake tourney.
I have been needing a big jam sesh lately after getting a little blown out at Berry and too tired to do anything but party at GS8!
So get ready for a relaxing evening strum session by the pool at Edgewater.
It would be cool to have other instruments as well - for instance Napa Justin's trumpet playing fit in real nice at Berry.
I know there are some good players out there, so break it out NCKA'ers, Slay 'n Play!
Chime in with what you got, and post any charts you'd like to jam to.
We have a month to practice :smt001

I'll bring my uke, but will probably wind up drinking and just singing.

I an an uke noob and would like to make Clear Lake but probably won't be able to because  the wife's relatives will probably be in town that weekend.
There is a youtube channel "ukulele play along" by Ukulele Underground that is great to learn songs from. Way better than sheet music!
"Pedo Viejo" is what Antonio called me.

The fact is, I'm not so good at playing the uke and can only do every fourth strum at best, LOL  :smt044  You are an awesome uke player Tony, so it's really silly for me to try and keep up! You should just give us all an informal lesson earlier in the day and then see how we do.

If I can make it to Clear Lake I will bring the Ukes!

The fact is, as long as you are having fun then that's all that matters! :smt001
And come on now PC, we all know "awesome" is relative. :smt001
I can strum a few chords and I think I can sing a little but there are some real players in our group.
Besides what is the best is getting together with some playahs and singing around a campfire after slaying fish all day!
I hope you can make it to Clear Lake, as this will be the only time in a while where Uke conditions might be ideal.
No 25+mph 45 degree winds, or rain (i hope) :smt002

Hey Playahs!
I've been lagging on putting up music, so here's a cool website i found.
Lots of Uke songs - 190,000+ of them!
Also some cool features in this easy to use site.
enjoy!

Great site!  Thanks. Maybe even I can find something there to play.
