Hello new friends,

I have lurked around the site for a little while and finally decided to to join and become a member. I'm excited to share stories, pictures and hopefully meet some new friends to hit the water with. A bit about myself....My name is Justin and I reside in the Manteca where I play softball, collect Gillette razors, do a lot of stream fishing (when its open) and now have found myself wanting to do more kayak fishing. I currently have a little 10' Ascend I picked up on CL to see if it was something I really wanted to do before I spent a fair chunk of change on a suitable rig. I've recently caught my first fish (3) from the kayak last weekend on Lodi Lake, and what a thrill. This is what gave me the finally push to really start actively seeking a fishing rig to suit my needs. I'm lucky in the fact that I have a full machine shop/fabrication company to make what ever I may need for my new rig, and cant wait to start making all kind of rod holders, motor mounts and whatever else I may think of. I think this may have covered it but who knows, looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me.
