Congrats!!  I had my last cig 13 years ago.  Here's a little tidbit that helped me stay off them:  It takes 28 days for your body to clear out the chemicals and return to its natural state. So, after 28 days, you will no longer have a physical craving or the withdrawal symptoms (irritability,  eating, etc).  Any "craving" after 28 days is just your mind fucking with you because your body could care less about the addictive chemistry.  So bottom line, make it past 28 days... then maintain the conscious decision to not need the mental crutch of smoking.  Kudos on the family effort!

Congratulations to you and your wife Mike!!!  I'm happy to hear that there are more people out there getting inspired to quit!  Funny thing is I thought I couldn't do it for so long... I was wrong!  I could do it, and so can you!  Some of my friends used to call me a chimney with a pony tail!  :smt044

Hell yeah!

There is just one fellow that I know of in my whole office building who smokes. You can smell his stank in our elevator 365 days a year... Even on days he's not working.

Serious congrats...

You should be ashamed of yourself...those tobacco C.E.O's were counting on you and others like you .

Disgusting, some friend you turned out to be-and after all they have done for us over the years....some people!!!

Congrats! Whenever you have a craving, plant yourself on a small plastic boat a mile from shore. Just don't tell your wife which addiction you're craving! :)
