A short report on Shasta Lake. Met with Tim and Kevin at about 7:30 out at Jones Valley, this was Kevin's first Kayak fishing trip. Day started out quick 1st cast, missed. 2nd cast bam, fish on, then it
died off. Jesse made it out there about 8:30 and put of a fishing clinic !!!!!! He ended up over 60 fish, I had about 18 and Tim had a few more than that. I did get to see Kevin catch his 2nd kayak fish, missed the 1st one, he ended up at 2-4 fish, but had to leave early. It was a great day to be on the water with friends !!!!!! 1st Pic is for our Buddy Ben who could not be there, and made a believer out of me one of these Chelada's and the day will be great !!!!

Another great day at Shasta with my NCKA buddies. Weather was awesome and the fishing was hot. A great suprise for me was catching a 13" crappie  :smt007. Thanks Jessie for the seminar, can you lift your arm up today ?  :smt003
Congrats to Kevin for his first blood on a yak ( WTTM )
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.
