Hit up lake Hennessey after work for a couple hours. Absolutely knocked the bass dead. I lost count after 20 or so. Missed a lot more bites as well. Biggest fish to 5 pounds or so. Nothing huge. All caught on fire tiger diving Rapala. No crappie to speak of as of yet. Im headed out there again tomorrow around 6 if anyone cares to join.

Thanks for the report and pictures GB.  Did you try the dam?

I did not try to the dam. I stuck to the Howell mountain road side. I saw some shore anglers with full stringers of trout from shore as well. Great day

Dude, you live in American Canyon? Me too..!!! I was there at Hennessy this morning. I broke one of my poles there from a LMB. Caught 5 in a couple of hours... Then bite stopped. Trolled for trout but trout wasn't interested in anything I threw at them.

If you look closely, the tip of the rod broke off. =(
