another leak.....

2014 is starting out as a "Leak year'' for me......looked up from my PC( yes I still use a PC).....saw wet and bubbling dry wall up on the ceiling which is below my kids bathroom...ACK !!! ..anyway cut out the dw,went upstairs and turned on the water, drip.. drip.. drip...leak behind the insert and fixtures now the wife wants ( she says it`s up to me but we all know what that really means) to rip out the  fiberglass tub/shower just do a tub and tile and new fixtures..... i`ll do the demo ,one of my good friends does tile.... I want someone else to install the tub and fixtures... if your interested PM  me... Thanks Vic  P.S. Drt wall guy too I suck at matching texture

It looks like you just need to call a GOOD plumber and then patch the drywall.  The problem is probably in the plumbing  not the tub surround.  But if she wants a tiled tub shower and you have the time and $ to do it then it will rack up some WAF points.
