so I started out this morning, I launched from Lucerne boat launch about 9:30. I headed west and fished all the docks and weed beds I could find. The water was really clear and I could see all kinds of LMB the problem was I could not get any to bite. I tried until about 1:00 then I went to Rodmens Slough. there was about 20 boats there(some tournament) I did not see anyone catch a fish for the hour and a half I was there. The water there was really murky. So I gave up and when home and played with my grandson.... :smt013
First time I have ever been skunked using minnows :smt010    oh well there is always next time. on a good note I got to take my new(new to me) Cobra yak out.

Those are frustrating days when you can see them but they just don't want to cooperate. There's always next time

Thanks for the report Sarge.  The worst day fishing still beats the best day working  :smt003

I was out there today as well. I fished for 4 hours or so. Caught roughly 20 fish. All of them were caught on a lucky craft pointer 100 in the chartreuse shad color. The biggest was around 3 lbs. water is super clear. Caught the biggest in Corinthian bay and  caught majority of them around fifth street docks. Awesome to watch fish chase a rip bait. Oh and I was ripping as fast and hard as I could, they were eating it!
