Salmon, maybe... rockfish, halibut. Stripers off the surf? Be ready for anything. Launch out of the lagoon entrance at 7:00am.

Sundays radio show had some skippers on that said the salmon showed up on saturday. "The Fishing Report" with Brian Hoffman is my new favorite show since Bill ( that kayak guy) Pennington was on it.  Anyway, it wasn't quite a fish a rod but they were large. They trolled from Rocky Point to the bouy. I think it's worth a try for the sleigh ride of your life. If they catch some on wednesday I might be there on saturday. Tim

Easiest quickest way is to take 101 south to Mill Valley and take the Hiqhway 1 exit and follow the signs to Stinson Beach.  Bolinas will be a couple miles past the town.   You can save a few minutes (maybe) by going over Panoramic Highway (Mt. Tam) but I don't want to confuse you.  About 45min from the S.R. side of the bridge.  Good Luck!

Yeah, come on out.  It might take teamwork to bag an orca!

The shortest paddle is south stinson and out and south to Rocky Point. The parking lot dosen't open 'till nine, but access is easy. Take a left at the stop sign and drive straight to the little foot bridge by the restaraunt. There's two sneaker parking spots on the right side of it. The foot bridge goes to the parking lot. If those spots are taken, the lot on the north side of the road
(Off The Beach Boats kayak rentals lot) is ok. Wheels would be handy. The surf closes out pretty bad there. There's a large pullout on the highway right above the south end of the beach where you could look. If it's clear, you can see the 'Dux reef bouy from there. 'hope you hook a big one.
