Somewhere around 1949, general motors.  My dad had a 49 Pontiac Chieftain looked a lot like it.

The shape of cars and the female form were very different from today.  I guess I'm confirming my status as an "Old Fart" by thinking the curves of yesterday look better to me than the anorexic looking models and many of the cars of today.  I have been the proud owner of a 1927 Chrysler, a 1956 VW, and a 1965 NRS 427 Cobra replica and I have been married to a great 1954 wife for 39+ years.  Wine isn't the only thing that improves with age!

It's a goddamn shame that those in the "fashion" industry make young women feel like looking like an anorexic heroin model is beautiful.
