new guy in citrus heights

Just got my first kayak. Used 10ft lifetime angler. My friend bought a new kayak. He wants to fish folsom. I like fishing the sloughs and want to get into the deep water channel. Never owned a boat and always shore fished for warm water species. Now I look forward to getting to the spots where I know there should be good fishing.
Like catfishing, stripers, bass, panfish.
