Teaching about Bass fishing 1.5 hr presentation......

Taught a bass fishing class to a Scout group tonight... Kayak and all on display. Videos, Demos, casting, knot tying, techniques, terminology, DFW regs mentioned, recommended reading, Gear to buy. Prepping them for a fishing/camping trip on a private pond so they can have success. Lots of great questions and excitement during and hands on gear passed around, didn't hook anyone!!!!! Calling it a good class. About 22 folks there. Now to wind down so I can sleep... Love fishing and showing others what I love to do! NCKA was mentioned and quote, "kayak fishing is sooo cool!!!" Fun time, great group!!!

Great Job Ron!!  Got to keep kids interested in fishing and the kayak really kicks it up a notch.  I know your enthusiasm is infectious, there will be a few more kayaks and fishing rods sold after this   and more kids with fish pics instead of selfies

Recently I saw a bass tournament on TV.  It was college teams!!  WHAT??!!  I could have gone to college on a Bass Fishing Scholarship??  Nobody told me that!  ha!

So tell those boys to get busy with their bass studies and maybe they will get to college fishing for bass too.

I dont know about here, but where I grew up high school had bass fishing teams.
