For new years I met up with some new friends and we thru hiked the LCT from Mattole to Shelter Cove. 4 days total, with 1 layover day to explore and rest. At the end some local girls showed up to party and celebrate the first full moon of the year. So we danced and spun glowy  things to their drums things while waiting for the last 2 people to finish.

For those of you with jobs, you may want to mute it.

And if you don't want to watch my 15 minute long journey you can check out this beautiful  3 minute video someone put together of a quick trail overview.

not working  right now ..so i didn't mute it  :smt002..had my eyes spinning at 7:00-8:00 min mark... :smt101  cool way to spend some days on the coast

Yeah that didn't work out so well. Wanted to put a bit of climbing in there but didn't want to have 10 extra boring minutes of it so I sped it up….ended up being nauseating. That wall was sketchy. All loose shale.

The family and I have been talking about hiking that trail. The video footage looked amazing. I really didn't realize there was so many water crossings. Thanks for sharing. :smt006
