Chronologically speaking, my post is correct!

-Allen

And now TOMORROW is TODAY.  And my topic title now reflects that.  I guess it does work.

Do what?  I don't get the issue!!!   :smt006

The issue is that you are OTW and I'm in my office typing this response   :smt012

I hope your box gets infested with crabs  :smt007

Well, I got a limit, but not until the very last hoop, which had 5 keepers in it.  A lot of big crab today.

Met Tim at the launch and Jim showed up shortly after.  It was foggy this morning and we didn't have GPS's.   :smt009  Made our way out and dropped where it felt good.  Once the fog lifted, it was apparent we were short of my usual location.  No worries, we each got a few on the first pull of our strings.  I got 5.  And then things died for me for the next 2 hours.  Lot's of softies, and BIG JUMBOS at that.  I tossed a number of 7+ inch softshells.  Probably released more full size softies than the hardshells I kept.  Anyways, I was getting discouraged and called last string.  I was blaming on the fact that today was a freezer clearing day.  Freezer burned chicken breasts no bueno.  Anyways, started pulling for more of nothing.  Then it happened.  Limits, done, going home.

It felt good to get on the water today...   Good seeing everyone,,, and meeting Tim too  :smt006..
Turns out I only had 9, but they were all so big , I couldn't fit another into my livewell.   As it turns out, I had to pull out a bigger pot just to cook em.
All cleaned and picked and waiting for tonight's  feast...
