A quick stupid question what is the difference between this one and that HDI? I'm getting something just not sure if the extra costs for the HDI would be worth it.
I do mostly  kayak fishin or spearfishin on the Monterey bay

HDI unit has the ability to show DSI (Down Scan Imaging ie "high-def").  DSI is great in the shallows (100 FOW or less).

In short, the HDI has both Broadband & DSI making it a HDI.
