Myself and barefoot1/Jeff will be making our 4th annual pilgrimage to the foothill area during Presidents week along with my father, a college buddy, a coworker, and possibly another friend.

We'll all be heading up the night of Wednesday, February 19th and staying in a Residential Housekeeping Cottage at Camanche before hitting Amador on Thursday, February 20th.

Will BBQ and spend the night at the cottage again before hitting Camanche on Friday, February 21st.

More company welcome!  Channel 69.

Amador was great fishing from shore with bait adds spinners today. Got all quality fish today near the dam. Good luck!

Looking forward to fishing with you Kevin!

Thank you Driftwood.  Hope it continues until we get there.  Or better yet, go cold and then bust wide open when we arrive!  :smt044  :smt002

I have been dying to get out on amador in my Yak. I'd love to join the "pilgrimage". What time would you guys be launching at amador?
Bad attitude? Nothing a good paddling won't fix....

Dilbeck will probably be there 6-630.  A bunch more of us will be there later, 8-930.  Ears on Ch. 69.

Would love to meet you Bill.  There will definitely be a flotilla of us out there.  Just some earlier than others.  :smt044

Jeff nailed it, I will be out there bright and early - probably between 6-7am.  I'm sure that Rob and Kevin will be there fairly early too.  The rest of the weekend warriors staying at the cabin might straggle in by noon.  :smt003  :smt002

Great to hear the lake is coming up.  The only downside to that is that the water clarity will be poor.  Shouldn't be too bad though if we don't receive an abundance of rain between now and then.
