I have 3.  The first one in my travel FAK, it's from BPS, and I've added a few things, like a few band-aids, the Neosporin, and a cortisone cream.
My next bag, is kept in my truck.  I put it together in the late 80's with help from a firefighter/paramedic friend, and have added some items to it over the years. (Swapped out things, and its time to swap out items again) This bag go camping with me whenever I go.
I also have another "Auto" first aid kit I got at Costco, (Not pictured)  that also resides in my truck. it remains in the truck.
I'm no "First responder" what I have will cover most minor scrapes, cuts and burns.  I've had American Red cross first aid training (Required for my work when I was at WJ) but that was a while ago.  I put these kits together on experiences I've seen, injuries I've endured over my camping/fishing excursions.

Can I use that spray on blood cloture for trout I want to C&R?

I need to put a couple kits together for my truck and kayaks. On my way to Clear Lake Sat there was a rollover accident. Bad! I was one of the first on scene. Trapped in the car upside down off the road in a ditch. Luckily no fire. I had an extinguisher in hand on my way to the car. No cell service, so I left 2 other people to help out on scene if they could and I hauled ass up the road for cell service to call it in. I never returned since I was 5 miles up the road before the call would work. I was the first to get the call out. I don't know in that case if a kit would have helped. It was more of a "use a t-shirt" occasion if you know what I mean.

One in the car, one in the CERT bag, one in the BOB. I should put one together for my dry bag to carry otw.

One point to note:  go through your bag. If you see something you don't know what it is for or how to use, learn. Otherwise it does you little good unless there happens to be someone on scene with knowledge.

tape! Pretty much the most used item, and sometimes all I have on me. I have a small kit of stuff that I carry on trips & in the kayak if I remember it, usually only to places like Sur or Shelter.
I really ought to put some kits together for the car, etc.
Next time I'm at HD or somewhere I'm getting a couple.

Stay clear of REI.  Damn things are expensive although I suppose most of what they sell is overpriced.

One piece of first aid equipment I always carry is A very large pair of diagonals.  I have one for each yak and one for my boat.  Why? Well I had a neighbor flag me down on his boat asking if I had pliers to cut a hook point that was sticking out of his forearm.  I had  a small pair that barely did the job. I started thinking that if I was out on the yak by myself, that situation would have been really bad.  One well oiled pair for each vessel!

I have  a CERT bag in the car too.  And a smaller 1st aid kit I can take out  with me if I have clients, and an even smaller one I have all the time.

Ever since  a halibut bucking on a stringer scraped my knuckle to the tune of nine stitches.  Scott's Creek.  Luckily a commercial buddy was nearby and we cobbled together napkins and duck tape haha.  (yes, I did keep on fishing).
