Guys

As some of you may know I have a sorely underfunded research project on the Guadalupe River in San Jose looking at steelhead smolt out-migration and use of restored salt ponds as rearing habitat.  I sent out a message for assistants.  Thanks to those that have volunteered. The project is ramping up next week.  As soon as we have the kinks worked out I will be contacting you.

I have another task involved that will be using minnow traps in several ponds in the Alviso Marsh that would need daily checking....and if non-target species which happen to be good striper bait were in the traps I wouldn't know what happened to them  :smt002.

I'm also asking if anyone would have an RV or toy trailer they would be willing to let me borrow for a few months.  I have a place to keep an RV or something remotely comfortable to sleep in at the Fish and Wildlife Refuge in Freemont, but no actual trailer or RV, so it would be kept in a safe secure location.

Finally, associated with this work, I and ChuckE will be putting together a little shark fishing derby so stay tuned.

Thanks brothers.
OG
