I wouldn't get any. I personally think Trevalas are over-rated.

I'd get a Shimano Teramar or a Lamiglass Tri-flex.

I've got both a mh and ml, I am using my ML for everything now...sturgeon, rockies,hallies....
Used the mh in Baja, and occasionally use it for rockies now.

same set up/pair of rods. ML is always on the yak for salt trips. The MH comes out for tournaments or when I am on a meat run and don't want to mess around. Otherwise I am on being outgunned on occasion with the ML. The fight is the best part! I have a 7 1/5 Lamiglass that I use for "casting" situations

I have both the ML and the MH. The ML works great for Salmon and Halibut, where the MH works great for Lings and Cabs. Both are paired with the Curado 301. I have 30 braid on the ML, and 40 braid on the MH.
Haven't had a bad experience with either.
Love these sets. ;0)
+1 to me thats the perfect setups
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Although there are a lot of other opinions on going with a lighter rod such as the M or ML, I still have to say that I love my MH for all around types of ocean fishing.  It may not be as limber as the others, but it's still limber enough to handle lighter lures like 1.5-2oz and still jig pretty well, but can also handle up to 6oz for using the big lures to catch fish down deep or in a fast drift.

I have a 7' ML paired with a Revo Inshore.  Just love to toss 4 oz. jigs on this outfit.  The other thing about Shimano is their over the counter warranty.  Haven't run across too many busted Trevalas but it nice to know you have a life time warranty.
